I tried to initialize with MBR and got the error "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)" so I tried GPT and got "The specified disk is not convertible because the size is less than the minimum size required for GPT disks. However, if I go to Disk Management I see an entry for Disk 4 - Unknown - Not Initialized. With this created, I don't see any new volumes listed in the drives section of This PC. I've created a 16TB NTFS LUN for movies and a 4TB LUN for computer backups. I'm running out of disc space so I was hoping to migrate the data from those drives over to volumes on the Drobo. It's running Windows 10 directly on it with various HDDs (one 8TB for movies, one 4TB for TV shows, one 3TB for generic backups and stuff) and it's entire purpose is to host Plex and act as a file server for backups and stuff. So I currently have a Dell PowerEdge C1100 set up as my media server. Let me explain what I'm trying to do and then hopefully you guys might have some ideas on the best way to make it happen. Drobo software and firmware updates for Drobo 5N can be downloaded and installed. After installation of the Dashboard, you can configure the settings to automatically install version updates, which is highly recommended. The Drobo Dashboard application will help you to set up and manage your Drobo 5N. I currently have 6x 6TB drives and 2x 4TB drives installed, all with green lights at the bottom. I've never owned a Drobo before but I have a server rack, some servers, etc and I figured I'd like to try this out so I'm keeping a B800i for myself (I'm selling the rest if anyone is interested, PM me). I just got my hands on nine Drobos (4) B800i, (4) Drobo Elite, (1) B810i. Good evening! Please pardon any questions or comments on my end that may seem really basic, I just got a Drobo for the first time.
